Eli

Eli is as special as they come! He’s a beautiful, black, half draft (Percheron x Quarter Horse) that wears a #4 shoe, stands 15.2+ Hands and is the perfect age of 6. Eli can do EVERYTHING too! He’s been used at the sale barn to pen back cattle, gather pastures, and sort in the alley. He’s played over ground poles and cross rails in the English saddle, done a million miles of trail riding, and has pulled the buggy or cart to town many times!

Anyone can drive Eli in the buggy. He’ll ground tie to be hitched and absolutely traffic safe. He would be a great horse for carriage rides or weddings too!

Eli lopes pretty circles on either lead and has smooth voice command transitions. He also side-passes and completes haunch and forehand turns. He’s very light in the mouth and will back with ease. He’s great to shoe, lead, load, and he’ll stand tied all day long.

Eli is great over logs, brush, water, bridges, or bogs. He’s surefooted and careful and is calm and cool when you do find a tricky spot! (Check out his video to see a slippery hillside).

Eli also loves a good party trick. He’ll pack a flag, play with the tarp, pull the sled or push the ball. He’ll come to the fence or pickup for easy mounting or even lay down! You can’t go wrong with Eli!

He’s up to date on dental, chiropractic care, worming, vaccinations, and hoof care. Eli will sell with our optional two day clinic at our home facility in Baxter Springs, Kansas in addition to a comprehensive manual about his cues, health care, and habits.
