Im Gonna Hit the Jackpot, affectionately known as Jackpot, is a one in a million! A color registered 2016 Appaloosa, standing a perfect 14.3 hands, that’s personality is just as unique as each and every one of his spots. Jackpot has great, solid feet and clean legs without a mark on him (x-rays available). His adorable head and keen ears add to his eye appeal. If a been there and done that gelding is on your Christmas list, you found him!
Jackpot has been used on the ranch to gather pastures, doctor calves, brand calves, sort cows and work at the sale barn penning back, loading trucks and anything else that needs doing. He’s been a playday horse having seen the barrels, poles, and any other gymkhana game out there! He’s even done some horse showing and competed and won a few ribbons in showmanship, trail, English hunter hack, English jumpers, and makes a great western equitation mount. Jackpot has even done a bit of breakaway and heeling this past summer at some local practice pens. Jackpot is also a fantastic trail horse and will cross water, logs, bridges, brush, or mountains. He is happy to hang out in the back of the group or lead the charge as well! He’s also been to Sonic and the local coffee shop enough times that everyone knows him by name. Jackpot can really do just about anything you ask!
Jackpot is also quick to participate in any circus trick you can think of. He will play with the tarp, pull the sled, push the ball, pack a flag, wring out your slicker or pop the bull whip. He’s fantastic with our nine dogs and is traffic safe. He is happy to be stalled or on turnout and he’s happy to trot to the barn bareback in a halter when caught. Jackpot is easy to catch, shoe, lead, load, tie, and bath. He will load in any type of trailer and will back out with ease. He also has a few tricks up his sleeve as he will come to the mounting block with just a raise of your hand or lay down for easy mounting! Jackpot is color registered with the Appaloosa Horse Club which makes him eligible for the Chief Joseph Trail Ride, breed shows, and year end awards. He completed forehand and haunch turns and will lope beautiful circles on either lead in a bridle, a halter, or bridle-less. Jackpot is up to date on dental, vaccinations, coggins, chiropractic care, hoof care and worming. Jackpot also has a clean set of x-rays to view (contact sales@cowponysales.com to view). Jackpot will also sell with our optional two day clinic at our home facility in Baxter Springs, Kansas in addition to a comprehensive manual on Jackpot’s cues, habits, and health information.
