Steele is a 5 year old, 14.2 hand, 1000 pound, dapple grey gelding, that is smooth moving, gentle and willing. He is just getting into the prime years of his life! Steele is eye-catching and has the biggest doe eye. If the eyes are the window to the soul, Steele’s tell a whole story. If you’re looking for a do-it-all gelding, that can help you out at the sale barn on Sunday, ride English for fun on Monday, gather up cattle in the pasture on Tuesday, tackle some jumps on Wednesday and hit the trails all weekend long, Steele is your guy! He is eager to please and simply happy to be a part of your day. He’s gentle and straight forward and has already done a bit of everything that can be done on a horse.
Steele has an easy way about him and he is a fantastic trail horse. He doesn’t mind leading and taking charge or hanging out in the back. He is beverage broke and just likes to be involved in your day. He crosses water, ditches, brush, logs, bridges and much more. He’ll side-pass over to the mounting block or trailer fender for mounting as well!
Steele is great with cattle and knows how to open gates any type of way you need too. He’s spent time at the sale barn, pushing and sorting cattle, and enjoys every minute! Gathering cattle in the pasture is no trouble at all, he’ll go wherever you point him!
While English isn’t his specialty, he’s happy to oblige. He is athletic, but economical with his movement and really brings flat knee movement to life.
Steele is easy to catch, saddle, bridle, lead, load and tie. He’s great with tarps, flags, pulling logs, and much more. If you need a little horse to go do anything your heart desires, this is him!
Steele is up to date on dental, vaccinations, chiropractic care, hoof care and worming. Steele has a recent Pre-Purchase Exam (PPE), with flexions, in files.
