Sugar Boon Evans

Sugar Boon Evans (Evans) is a 15 hand, 2019 AQHA Blue Roan gelding by Strawberry Boon (by Peptoboonsmal, $28 million sire) and out of Topsie Evans by Catalena Son Evans.

Evans is as handsome and as conformationally correct as they get. He’s gentle, big hearted, kind eyed, youth and non-pro friendly.  At just 4 years old, Evans has roped out of the box, drug calves, doctored calves in the pasture, been shown by a youth and non-pro at local ranch shows and been rode in The Badlands of North Dakota.  Evans knows all the fancy Reining maneuvers: spins, lead changes, roll backs, sliding stops and he’ll even do them bridleless! When it comes to Ranch Riding, be ready to rack up points with his smooth trot and pretty lope.  Evans knows his place boxing a cow and gets along just fine in the Ranch Cutting, Box Drive and Boxing classes. You don’t have to worry about getting first place in Confirmation, he’s as correct as you can get! With a few more shows under his belt, he’s sure to claim the All Around title at every Versatility show you go to. He’s just as happy truckin’ down the trail and going to work on the ranch!
