Cactus is 47″ of pure gold! This 12 year old gelding is a perfect gentleman that has literally done it all!  He’s a finished rope pony, used in Junior High Rodeo for goat tying and breakaway.  He also is competitive in barrels and poles with plenty of get up and go when asked.  He’s been trail rode all over the countryside, up and down hills and through water.  He just finished a 30 day tune up at Luke Jones Performance Horses with Cort Jones heeling and breakaway roping on him.

At home he’s been loved on by my 7 and 9 year old girls, who crawl and jump all over him for the past 3 years.  He’s a perfect jungle gym for them!

This finished rodeo pony is one that anyone can ride!  Gentle, safe, sane with get up and go when asked.  He bathes, ties, stand for the farrier, loads in the trailer – whatever you ask of him.  My girls have no problem catching him in the pasture and saddling him up by themselves.

He’s the dream pony that everyone hopes for when getting their kids started.  Sure to build trust with his next cowboy/girl!
