Beautiful 8 yo 14.1 hh Gypsy Vanner (no papers, likely a cross) mare who has successfully done it all. She has placed in the top 2 for every race we hauled her to this year and ran her (barrel and poles). She is finished for gaming/speed and knows all the WSCA and 4H games, barrels and poles. If you want to take her to the next level in rodeos, she was professionally started to rope, has done goat tying, and will quietly work a cow for other ranch classes. Goes the speed you ask her and will side pass, flex, counter bends, and easily takes her gaits.
She is one of the sweetest horses you will ever meet. Loves to trail ride, crosses water, will swim, and is quiet with anything and everything we have done with her. Beginner/young kid/beginner adult friendly on the trails; advanced beginner youth/adult on up friendly in the arena as she has speed in the arena when asked for it and a lot of buttons. Would make a great step-up horse.
She is as wide as she is tall and can easily be ridden by full size adults. Youth in the videos is 5’10” tall and the adult man is 6’+.
She is UTD on all cares. Easy keeper who gets along with all horses, self-loads/unloads in a trailer, great for vet and farrier. Stands still to brush, saddle, and mount (from block or ground). Zero vices or bad habits. NOT marish at all! We clip her legs in the spring/summer months due to mud and ability to wear protective boots. Her feathers are growing back in for fall/winter (see picture).
