Lockdown is a 15 hand, 2020, registered buckskin Percheron Quarter Cross gelding that was bred, born and raised on our ranch. He’s the kind of family horse that everyone looks for!
Lockdown is an in your pocket kind of horse. He has a goofy personality that loves everyone. He is kind and is fearless in the mountains or out going and doing new things. Went to our first ranch versatility show and he got third place in trail. This boy has no vices and is a dream to ride. Will be showing him until he finds his forever home. He has great feet, big and black. He’d 100 percent sound, teeth have been floated, up-to-date on vaccinations, deworming done – he’s ready to go!
This boy loves the water he would swim all day if he could. Got that from his mama. He side passes, picks up his leads, good stop, will push cows. We have done several sorting competitions on him. His spin is coming along. He has all the buttons to go in the show pen if desired. He would excel in sorting/penning, cross country, ranch versatility and trail.
He loves sticking his tongue out while being ridden and is full of personality that loves attention. He is always waiting for you to give him a rub. If your looking for in your pocket type of horse this is your guy. He is fun for the beginner and advanced rider. He has his whole life in front of him.
