This Lil Shine O Mine, aka Bootsie, is a 2019 sorrel overo APHA mare. She is by Mega Watt Shine, NRHA earnings of $65,000 (by Marthas Mega Jac, NRHA LTE $103,088) and out of Lenas Rubies N Roses (by Lenas Air Force). Bootsie stands a perfect 14.1 hands and has been with NRHA trainer, Nettie Baker, for the past year. She is incredibly sweet and kind, not a mean bone in her body. No bucking, rearing or mare like behavior. Bootsie wants to please and will try her heart out. She’s an easy lead changer, pretty loper and always has her ears forward and happy! She’s quiet enough for most any age rider, takes new things in stride, goes down the road alone, barefoot on the front (sliders in the back) and is UTD on all health, farrier, teeth, etc. Bootsie would excel as a Ranch Rider/Versatility horse. She has not been exposed to cattle, but her personality tells us she’ll give it her all. With a bit more time, she could be competitive in reining as well.
