He came out of the Eminence Missouri wild horse herd and has been thoughtfully brought along into a broke, usable riding horse. Since then he has been used on the trail, around the ranch, and dragging calves, always showing up with a willing attitude and an honest try.
Virgil rides soft and relaxed with a more whoa than go style. He is smooth in his movement and easy to sit, making him enjoyable for long rides and everyday use. He understands his basic cues, has a good foundation, and is the kind that will continue to get better with consistency and miles.
What really sets him apart is his disposition. Virgil stays level headed and does not get rattled when his rider makes a mistake. He is forgiving, tolerant, and steady, making him a confidence builder for someone who appreciates a kind minded horse.
He does prefer having company and can get a little anxious when riding out alone, but this has been improving steadily with more exposure and consistency. He is not a finished horse, but he is a safe, honest project with all the right pieces in place.
