Registered with the Gypsy Vanner Horse Society, he is a 6 year old gelding that stands a perfect 15.1 hands, weighs a solid 1300 pounds and has the most beautiful black sabino coloring you’ll ever see! He rides and drives better than anything you’ve seen and he’s safe, reliable and fun! That’s just a few reasons why we adore this handsome gelding.
Elliott is absolutely stunning with the sweetest personality, from his perfectly curled mustache to his thick flowing tail. He’s built to last with a ton of bone, great feet, and balanced conformation. Elliott will meet you the gate when he sees you and has the disposition of a golden retriever. Sweet, kind, and lovable. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body and wants to be your best buddy.
Elliott is a trail riding machine and is happy to pack anyone in the family. He’s made lots of miles cruising through the mountains and pushing cattle. He’s happy, trusting, and willing to go right where you point him. Elliott has a nice one handed neck rein and is simple and uncomplicated to ride. He is super smooth with a nice ground covering walk, beautiful trot, and comfortable lope on a loose rein. Elliott has a nice side pass, easy lead departures, and is soft in his face. We have ridden him bareback, at the lake and all around the ranch.
Elliott’s a fun horse to ride – anyway you choose to ride him! He’s very trained in the arena, yet amazing outside. Elliott has been ridden all over the ranch to gather cattle and drive them up the road to other pastures. He’s been roped on a few times and is game for anything you throw his way. He’s accustomed to crazy dogs, loud gunfire, heavy traffic, large machinery and blowing tarps. Elliott loves attention and looks forward to being groomed and loved on.
You can ride him daily or twice a year and he’s the same solid citizen, being 100% absolutely gentle every time you saddle him. Elliott makes owning and riding a horse fun, easy and effortless. He has also been ridden extensively in English and over small jumps.
Call grandma up and bring the neighbors over for that Sunday afternoon wagon ride. Elliott is just as fun to ride as he is to drive. He’s just as wonderful to drive as he is to ride! Take him to town, church festival or a leisurely stroll down the rode.
