Finn is a handsome 11-year-old dun Welsh Cob gelding standing just over 13.3 hands. He goes both western and English and truly shines as an all-around type. Whether you’re looking to hit the trails, jump a few fences, or gather cattle, Finn is ready to go and look good doing it.
He’s a forward mover and soft in the face, making him best suited as a step-up mount for a confident kid or small adult with some riding experience. A handy 11-year-old girl has been riding him with ease, and they’ve been having a blast—especially over small jumps, which Finn clearly enjoys. He would definitely be a good fit for that all-around – do anything – 4-H pony!
Finn is confident on the trail, whether he’s going out solo or in a group. He crosses logs, steps into water without hesitation, and takes new environments in stride. He’s been shown and even worked cattle, showcasing his versatility and willingness.
While I was looking forward to exploring more of Finn’s talents this spring, I’m also a busy mom of two little ones under two years old and haven’t been able to devote the time he deserves. That’s why a younger rider has been helping keep him going—and he’s been thriving with the attention.
Finn is sound, fun, and ready to make someone very happy. His teeth were floated on 4/11. Contact Morgan at (734) 341-8408 for more information or to come meet him.
