Pickles is a gorgeous, 7 year old, 38 inch, silver paint pony. He is the barn favorite, according to my second kid, Gray. Gray is also 7 and loves riding Pickles and has ridden him everywhere. Countless adventures. I trust him to take good care of Gray. Pickles is no stranger to shows and competitions. Gray has won first place twice in Trail on Pickles.
Pickles is that perfect step up pony that can take your kid to the next level. He is great with my three year old, very gentle. I would say Pickles is perfect for ages 3 and up, as long as they have ridden before. He has the ability to be fast if asked to be; so the little rider will need to have ridden before. Pickles has some speed and has a natural jump that is effortless. He sails over jumps through the forest. He would make for an awesome fox hunting or eventing pony. He has some cross country skills that’s for sure!
Pickles is great for his feet, deworming, clipping, trailer loading, saddling, stall manners and loves every gummy bear you give him. Pickles will eat any treat you offer him. Tacos, chips, sandwiches and gummy bears. Even pickles, that’s how he got his name!
Pickles loves chasing cows and has no fear, even chasing bison. He has been around it all! Chickens, 12 dogs at once, busy roads, silly little things we throw at him. He is no stranger to the pulling world. He is being used doing the morning chores. He would be an awesome pony to explore the trail with your little buggy. He would be the fanciest pony on the trail!
Pickles is up to date on teeth, deworming and feet trimming. It will be a sad day to see him leave the barn. He has made my little riders so much better in so many ways. Confidence, independence, and pure joy. Excited to see the next little rider he will bless.
