Rappin In The Delta, aka Delta, is a 2015 APHA Bay Tobiano mare that stands 14.1 hands. Delta is by Rap Cat, NCHA LTE $52k (by High Brow Cat) and out of Getsya Delta Hickory (Delta Getsya There). Delta is incredibly talented, with a resume that includes a little bit of everything! She has great confirmation, beautiful tail and feminine features with a loving personality.
In Delta’s junior years she was shown lightly in local Reined Cowhorse shows and then in Ranch Versatility. She has beautiful transitions, carries her head low and level and is more than happy to work a cow. She’ll sort cattle in the pasture, rope and doctor and cross whatever is in her path. Delta has been Team Sorted on and she has worked long days as a turn back horse in the cutting pen. She has plenty of cow to her!
Delta is a fantastic trail horse, riding alone or in a group, and will tackle the hills with ease. Crossing water, bridges, logs or anything in her pathway is not an issue. Delta enjoys obstacles, from crossing the giant teeter totter to pushing the large ball around the arena. Dogs, kids, machinery, donkeys and chaos doesn’t rattle her a bit. She takes it all in stride. Delta has had guns shot off her, rides around one handed, carries a flag, rides bridleless, side passes and turns around like a champ!
Delta falls asleep being bathed, groomed and pampered! She would excel as a 4-H or Fun Show type horse. She’s truly up for any adventure and wants to please her rider. While she is not finished in any gaming events, she has the speed and finesse to have a lot of fun! She would definitely bring home plenty of ribbons in Ranch Riding too!
Safe enough to let your teenager loose to adventure on the trails, hit up clinics and ride alone without worry. Her most recent rider is 16 and they get along great! Her video will show you just how much she wants to please her rider.
Delta trailer loads (backs out), stands tied to be saddled, groomed, bathed, farrier, vet and can be stalled or turned out. She can be in a mixed herd of mares and geldings, does not act mareish, respects the herd order and finds herself in the middle of the pack.
Delta is up-to-date on all vet work, is sound, safe and tons of fun! She does have thin soles on her fronts, shoes make her more comfortable. She has recently been x-rayed to confirm there are no other issues.
