Becaco CD Magnolia (Munchie)

BaCaCo CD Magnolia, aka Munchie, is an affectionate 2019 AQHA sorrel gelding that stands 14.3 hands. Munchie is a Ranching Heritage bred gelding by CD Son Of Magnolia, LTE $69,963 (by CD Olena, LTE $170,706) and out of BeCaCo Lady Flo (Mr Haida Flo by Haidas Little Pep, LTE $425,174). CD Son Of Magnolia currently stands at the 6666 Ranch. Munchie is a product of the Beggs Cattle Company and wears the brands proudly. Munchie has been shown lightly in the AQHA Ranch Versatility events and also has $468 in earnings.

Munchie is sweet, kind, gentle and BROKE! He’ll greet you at the gate, nicker to you when you walk by and longingly want to be your best friend. He comes with a great set of ground manners. He stands tied quietly and is very patient. He’s an easy keeper that loves his snacks!

Munchie is a very well broke gelding that has been shown in a variety of AQHA Ranch Versatility classes. He’s put many miles on the trails and has spent several months learning the roping pen. He’s extremely versatile and Non Pro/Amateur friendly! Munchie has a trot you could sit for days and his transitions are on point. He has a cute little turn-around and stop to him and with a bit more riding could excel in the Reined Cowhorse arena as well.  His flying lead changes are excellent and lope departures are smooth and even. Munchie easily rides around one handed and off of leg cues. You can even ride him bridleless!

When it comes to trails, Munchie will do it all! He’s sure footed, crosses rocky paths, water, rough terrain and he’ll ride alone or in a group. He can be a tad pokey, so you’ll likely find yourself towards the back!

Munchie has spent a lot of time roping the sled and he’s also roped a handful of steers. He’s really gotten the hang of it and could definitely excel in this area! He’s calm and patient when it comes to the box. He’ll push the cattle and turn back also.

Chaos doesn’t bother Munchie! Dogs, kids, skid steer, traffic, guns, noise – you name it and he’ll just look at it. Munchie is good in a stall or pasture. He hauls well, stands tied, great for farrier. He does not require shoes, though he does have them on right now. You can lunge him (though he does not need it), pony horses off of him, clip him and bathe him.

Munchie is for sale as his owner broke her pelvis last year (not horse related) and as she is starting to ride again, she can only make it about 20 minutes. With Munchie being in the prime of his life, she doesn’t want him just sitting and not being used. He is show ready, loves to work a cow and is looking for his person.
